Saturday was a yucky rainy nasty day. Most of the day was spent inside relaxing since Jason and his mom cleaned our house on Friday!!!! Then when Savannah woke up from her nap she and I got ready and headed to the movies to see Princess and the Frog, she did AWESOME considering she is 2, sat for 45 mins and got fussy during the last 15 mins!!!!
Sunday we went to church then out to eat. Once we got home we finished cleaning so that on Monday Jason and I could have some quality time together!
Monday I took the kiddos into school and Jason did some work. I got the grocery shopping done and kitchen cleaned up. Then Jason and I headed out for our WONDERFUL date day!!!! We 1st took dinner over to our good friends Johnny and Lori, and got to meet baby Jake for the 1st time. He is so tiny I can not beleive that Landon was his size recently... and that Savannah was smaller than that! I know they feel the same because their oldest Ava was MUCH smaller! They are doing great!!!! Jason and I then went to lunch and shopped around the Summit, my new favortie store is Charming Charlies.... wonderful stuff and pretty darn cheap!!! The off to Jason's fav store the Bass Pro Shop, where he got lots of new fishing stuff and a nes belt. He was shocked and kinda proud of me that I did not spend any money yest... but I was a little overwhelmed by the store I need a few hundred hours there!!!!!
Last night Landon ate at 9 ish and then went to sleep and as of 6:00 this morn when I dropped him off at school he was still sleeping... he only woke for a little bit while I changed his diaper.... then back to sleep!!! By the way that is 9 hours if you are counting!!!! WONDERFUL!!!! I am hoping this is a sign that sleeping through the night is HERE!!!!
We received some VERY sad news this morn. Jason's boss who has been fighting cancer passed away Sunday evening. Very sad today. But we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering. Praise the Lord for his suffering ending and lift up his family in prayers that they kind find comfort durin this time.
