So my atempts at being healthy and exercising have caused some issues... I have been so good at coming into work early and going to the gym....
So I headed off to a meeting yesterday around 2:00pm. I work on floor 3 and the meeting was on floor 2... so I thought hey why not be healthy and walk down the stairs instead of taking the elevator.... pretty good though huh???.... well off I go....
They have new carpet in the stairwell and it is a little slippery... I am on the top stair when my left heel slips twisting my ankle, this causes me to lose my balance and fall foward, I grabbed the baster (or tried to) my phone went sailing down 3 levels crahing at the bottom of the stairwell, my notbook flies down the stairs, my right ankle twist, my right knee hits 4 or 5 stairs down (BAM, ouch) I finally cath myself before I flip over.
Adreinaline is pumping through my veins at this point and I get up find my shoes (which also went flying) grab my notebook and exit the stairwell.... I hobbled into the lobby at the bottom of the stairs- also where my meeting was- and also HR lobby.... I start bawling and sit down crying and trying not to get sick from the pain.
Luckily the meeting I was headed to had my sister in law in it and the nurse at Protective was in it, they rushed to my aid and got me calmed down and badaged up...
I skint the skin off my knee.... twisted both ankles.... and bruised my knee really deep.... also in cathing myself I am hurting from head to toe.... oh and broke a nail!!!!
I had to go to an occupational Clinic and I have no boken bones.... just badly bruised all over! He gave me some pain meds... wish I could take one right now.... boy am I hurting!!!

Oh no!! I have been called Grace several times in my life for doing similiar things! I am glad that you are alright!
