Glucose Screening and 26 Week Check Up

My wonderful husband slept a little late this am, got up got ready for work, got Savannah ready for school and they headed out together leaving sleepy momma on the couch to continue catching the zzzzs since I could not eat anything this morn... he gets an A+

So I went to the dr this morn to chug down the ORANGE suger drink that they force upon you... just to make sure your glucose levels are good to go... okay so yes this is an importnant step in the pregnancy... let's hope I pass with FLYING COLORS... I def do not want to have a 3 hour test and a special diet in the future.... I think I am official at +2 or 3 lbs.... the special diet I would have to follow would keep me at those 2 or 3 lbs and the dr would be VERY unhappy!!!!! I am slowly gaining weight.

Well I am measuring right on and dr said to continue what I am doing which means modified activity still a to do.... husband is doing well to help keep me on trackand he is doing well caring for savvy without my help!!!! I feel like a bad momma... esp when she is crying in the middle of the night wanting me to hold and snuggle her and I have to walk her to Jason.... she could get on the couch with me but my belly takes up most of the room... I feel like I am losing my contection wih her and I am finding myself jelous of daddy's conection... she wants him more than me now...

Well I have my next apt in 4 weeks then I go to every 2 weeks (for 3 apts) then it is every week... there are only around 7 more visits before baby will arrive!!!!!

I am 26 weeks... measuring a little over that! I have 10 ish weeks before baby can come at anytime and 14 weeks before my due date.... time is flying and I can't wait to meet this active little boy!!!!!!
