This Could Be One Of Those Memories

History in the making

7 wonderful years ago on January 4th Jason and I experienced our "FIRST KISS"!!! This really was “Our Last Fist Kiss”.

Here is the events leading to this day:

I came to Auburn and the day I moved in I stepped through the floor in my room. I had the balcony room and the balcony and floor had a rotten spot in it. I reported this to the apartment’s office….

I few days later the “Young Hot” maintenance guy and the “Old” maintenance guy came to look at my balcony. I was the only one there at the time and I was having lunch watching TV… the “Young Hot” maintenance guy came in and looked at me then to his boss “The old guy” and said ‘She is going to be trouble’…What a come on line!!!!!

After this I started to get to know both maintenance guys, the young hot one was of course Jason! We became pretty good friends… my apartment was next to the shop so he and I would talk there or sitting on the curb outside the shop and my apartment.

Finally after some flirting and prying from his boss Jason asked me on a date

On December 5th he took me to Macalester's Deli and then on December 9th we watched a movie at his apartment "ON TOP OF THE COVERS" ( explanation to come). But our 1st actual date not just as friends came on January 4th 2003.

I left for Christmas break, but not before leaving Jason a nice Christmas card! We talked for a good bit while I was away for the holidays. I really liked this guy but thought he was just wanting to be friends… that is until…

My awesome roomie from college talked to Jason on the internet via AOL IM.... this is where Jason explained how much he liked me, how he did not want to kiss or hug me if it was unwanted because I was such a young innocent girl.... (insert explanation of on top of the covers) he was telling my roomie what we did the night before and he made a BIG deal about us being on top of the covers... he did not want to give the wrong idea!!!! My roomie informed him that I was wanting some X's and O'x Hugs and Kisses from him! But what he did not know until a few months later was that my roomie copied and pasted this conversation and emailed it to me... so I knew how he felt!!!

I raced back to Auburn on January 4th so that I could see Jason... I literally ran to his apartment when I arrived cause my heart was with him.... and we had "Our First Real Kiss" and you know like that song says it really is one of those "memories that we hold on to, cling to."

This was the start of something unbelievable! Jason was so cautious he did not want to cross any lines or to push me away. He was such a gentleman.

As Jason’s birthday and Valentines approaches you may have more memories of ours that I share. He is the LOVE of my life and I am so thankful for him. He and I have come so far together and he is my best friend.
