Blast from the Past

The weekend started early even though we worked on Friday! My lil sis Aunt GiGi I think is what Savvy will call her came over to spend the night and of course create a new hair do on this head of mine! I needed a change! I colored it dark brown Wed night then chopped it all off Thurs night.... and let me say the color and cut look FANTASTIC.... by the way if you do not know GiGi is my 16 year old sis who is done with High School just awaiting graduation in May and is in cosmotalogy school and doing an awesome job... she will graduate from there in June!!! To be 17 and already finished with all your schooling... WOW!

Fri we made our way to Turkey Creek Rd and enjoyed some quality time with hubby's family... Saturday morn we cooked some yummy breakfeast then packed up and headed to the LOVELIEST VILLAGE ON THE PLAINS....... Auburn Alabama.... where hubby and I met and fell in love... I still do not know how anyone can go to Auburn and not fall in love with the city... it is such a wonderful place to be and I so miss it! I would love to move back if only we could!!!!

Saturday we took Savvy around campous and took pics of Sanford Hall and Tomers Corner and the beloved Auburn University sign in front of Sanford Hall.... Savvy enjoyed running around in the green green grass! It was nice to be back in the old place! Then we met up with some wonderful good friends of ours and hung out until 1/2 time of the Auburn game...

Sunday we went to a family reunion and got to see cousins and distact relatives of mine who I had not seen in years!

It was a GREAT weekend all thogether!

I think Savvy has her a boyfriends and my good firen Mel needs to watch out cause she has some compitition!

We are back in the real world today and my work is giving me a Baby Shower today... Ill post pics of it later too!

Head Down, Butt on the Right and Feet Kicking the Left

That would be how my little man is chilling out in my tummy right now! I was wondering what parts I was feeling where.... on my right side I feel a large item moving around... on the left side I feel medium movements... and down low I keep feeling small little movements.... so his head is down low and I feel his little hands moving around down there.... then his butt is on my right side and when he streches it kinda hurts! then his little feet get to going on my left side....

That is what I thought but could not decide if he was head down or up!!!

Blood pressure is perfect... no swelling so far... still hurting down low but now we know it is because he is head down putting pressure down there!... everything else is going good...

I have dropped some so he is VERY low.....

7 to 10 weeks and counting!!!!

Little irritated with the husband right now.... but I am trying to get over it... he is not quite understnading that in a few weeks going to sleep at 7:30 is going to be a thing of the past and that I can not and should not be the only one up at night taking care of both kids...

I expressed my worries this morn and he said he would come up with a plan today and we would talk about it....

HERE IS THE PLAN..... (no questions)

He needs to get up at night and help... not just let Savvy crawl in bed with him and go back to sleep she needs to understand that we sleep in that bed she sleeps in hers and baby L will be in his soon enough... but instead the wonderful hubby of mine just lets her curl up with him so he does not have to actually WAKE UP or GET UP and do something ..... ARGH I was a little peeved last night when she had some tight terrors that woke her up at 930 (I had just gotten to sleep) 100 and 300.... oh yeah and 430 but by then I was about to get up so I just let her sleep on the couch next to me.... I mean if we are about to get up then yes it is fine to let her sleep the last little bit with us but not all night long starting at 930....

Okay sorry for my rant this morn.... lack of sleep.... uncomfy... freaking out a little bit that I will be doing EVERYTHING....

10 weeks til DUE DATE, 7 until i'm FULL TERM

Can we say that I am ready to have this baby??? Okay so not prepared ready but def reaching the point of ready to pop!!!

I am officially 30 weeks!!!!! That just sounds so great to say! And 10 weeks hey I can count usuing only 2 hands now!!!!!!

I am so ready to meet my little man!!!!

I of course need a few items in te houise to be completly ready but I have some really GREAT friends giving me a shower in a few weeks... I can't wait!

We have some busy weeks ahead of us....

This weekend, "NESTING" and getting Savvy's invites for her Bday party finished! And spending some time with friends!!!! Oh and of course some Auburn football!!! (9/6 weeks)

Sep 26 and 27th... nothing but "Nesting Projects" and getting things ready for Savvy's bday party! (8/5 weeks)

Oct 3rd and 4th Auburn getaway weekend... it is an away game but we are going to see some friends and then to a family reunion! Send out Savvy birthday invites! (7/4 weeks)

Oct 10 and 11 going to a 1st Birthday on Sat and my baby shower is Sunday (6/3 weeks)

Oct 17 and 18 organizing baby shower gifts.... (not being selfish but I hope if work gies me a shower it is before this weekend so I can return double gifts and finish gdetting all my needed items) (5/2 weeks)

Oct 24 and 25 Wedding reception for Jason's cousin at his aunts house on Saturday, Sunday tenative RMH serving food. Getting things ready for the bday party (4/1 week)

Oct 31 and Nov 1 Savvy's Birthday party on Haloween.... dress up !!!!! Lots of yummy good old soups and chili!!!!! Then Sunday I am considered FULL TERM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta make it through the party then baby can come at anytime!!!! (3/ 0 weeks)

Wow I am gonna be busy busy busy!

Glucose Screening and 26 Week Check Up

My wonderful husband slept a little late this am, got up got ready for work, got Savannah ready for school and they headed out together leaving sleepy momma on the couch to continue catching the zzzzs since I could not eat anything this morn... he gets an A+

So I went to the dr this morn to chug down the ORANGE suger drink that they force upon you... just to make sure your glucose levels are good to go... okay so yes this is an importnant step in the pregnancy... let's hope I pass with FLYING COLORS... I def do not want to have a 3 hour test and a special diet in the future.... I think I am official at +2 or 3 lbs.... the special diet I would have to follow would keep me at those 2 or 3 lbs and the dr would be VERY unhappy!!!!! I am slowly gaining weight.

Well I am measuring right on and dr said to continue what I am doing which means modified activity still a to do.... husband is doing well to help keep me on trackand he is doing well caring for savvy without my help!!!! I feel like a bad momma... esp when she is crying in the middle of the night wanting me to hold and snuggle her and I have to walk her to Jason.... she could get on the couch with me but my belly takes up most of the room... I feel like I am losing my contection wih her and I am finding myself jelous of daddy's conection... she wants him more than me now...

Well I have my next apt in 4 weeks then I go to every 2 weeks (for 3 apts) then it is every week... there are only around 7 more visits before baby will arrive!!!!!

I am 26 weeks... measuring a little over that! I have 10 ish weeks before baby can come at anytime and 14 weeks before my due date.... time is flying and I can't wait to meet this active little boy!!!!!!

I am not SUPERMOM....

Well we are back from the beach and the Moore family had a WONDERFUL time.... Savvy didn't really like the sand and ocean but she sure did love the pool.... she would take off and splash and jump in the 1/2 to 3 foot water in the wade in area.... her and her 2 crazy cousins (all 3 are crazy) were the center of attention and it took the adults every ounce of energy to keep up with them... I can't wait until next year when Savvy and baby get to play together at the beach!!!!

I came back to work with a load of emails, questions, and STRESSSSSSSSS man it has been one thing after another, we just can't please the big bosses here... and most of the time it is because of lack of communication from above... I AM NOT A MIND READER!!!!

Savvy started a new room/building in the daycare this week... Monday was shaky at drop off but then Tues she took off and didn't look back... it helps that there is an indoor playground for them to play on... and that she and Kyekye (my neice) are in there together!!!

Our nephew Kaka started school on Thursday... I can't beleive he is old enough to go to school... where have the last 5 years gone????

Wed morn I woke up spotting... I had to go to L&D for observation... baby does not like having monitors on... he was in kick mode all day! Which I enjoyed cause I knew he was A-ok. I had an ultrasound and all checked out to be okay... he is now over 2lbs.... what a BIG boy he is!!!!! I have an irittated cervix.... I can't lift anything over 10lbs... which cause a problem cause Savvy is 26lbs.... it is so hard for her to understand... and well I cant exactly follow the orders 100%... I am just not carrying her all around the house!

Days like that make me aware that I am not supermom... superwife... superemployee... and that I really just need to stop and slow down... of course I came back to work yesterday to more STRESSSSS and work CRAP which just helps with a pregnant lady!!!!!!

I get to go back and see the doc on Tues for a wonderful glucose screening test.... YUMMY

No more Infant Building

As the Moores prepare for a new arrival in just a matter of months we find our little Moesavvy growing and changing. Our next exciting change comes Aug 10th when she starts the toddler building... and starts POTTY TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!! We have worked with her at home but to no avail because in the room she is in right now they will not work with her... this is all about to change and our little savvy little girl will be wearing "BIG GIRL PANTIES" and learning to use a potty!!!!!!!!

I am torn, I will miss the infant building but it will be so nice to have only 1 in diapers come Nov!!!!

Communication Breakdown

At work at this time I am experienceing comunication breakdown... where the big bosses seem to forget to tell the peions what they are expecting them to work on.... I am not a mind reader by any means... wish I was!

Count Down to Moebaby

17 weeks until due date, 16 until where he is measuring, 14 until I can have him at any time!!!

We were in a meeting today and I realized that July is OVER and that I have Aug (1) Sep (2) Oct (3) and then Nov is here.... 3 months until the month I am due

I will be 37 weeks Nov 1 so anytime after that I can have Moebaby

Apparently we are not "FEELING" Grant

So i thought we had agreed on a name. Alexander Grant Moore.... but no Moedaddy informed me last week that he did not like the name anymore. He said everytime he heard it he thought Alexander Grahm Bell.... silly boy!!!

So our little growing boys name is Landon Christopher Moore!!! I love it, I have always like the name Landon so it is perfect!!!!

Moedaddy cracks me up! We were painting Moebaby's room yest and he was looking around and said... I just dont think this room looks like a boy room... we need to switch the furniture around in these rooms! So we did!

Moesavvy's room is yellow and white, the bedding is bright blue and green, we added pink and purple to those colors! Very bright and fun!!!!!

Moebaby's room is AUBURN!!!! It is yellow but with Aunburn pics everywhere!

I am glad we swaped the rooms because the furniture in both rooms looks so much better!!! Both rooms look bigger!!!!

Still have some organizing and baby bedding to make make it is coming along nicely!

Moesavvy All GROWN UP

Moesavvy moved into her new bed Sunday night... this is the 2nd bed transition in a few months!!!!

We were not making her move beds Sunday night just getting things set up to start the process but she fell in love with the bed and as we set the room up she started bringing stuffed animals and blankies in with her to put on the new bed!!!!

She is now sleeping in a daybed, we pulled the trundle out for ease for her getting in and out and incase she rolls off during the night... but she is very good about moving away from the edge in her sleep....

Also on Sunday she had quite a few BIG girl things to show us.... like saying "COOKIE" and singing "Clean up clean up..." song while picking up her toys...

Our house is a mess right now as we transition it for another baby....... it is an interesting experience chasing a toddler while organizing a house!!!!

19 weeks until my due date..... 18 weeks until the day he is measuring.... 16 weeks until I could have him at anytime!!!!
